The country includes two large islands as well as having two independent states within the country’s borders. It is the birthplace of the Renaissance. The city is one of the fashion capitals of the world. There would be no shortage of good wine or raviolis.

Milan! I’ve been to that church before, Il Duomo, which is a confusing name since it doesn’t have a dome like Il Duomo in Florence! It’s not the most attractive city because I’d say it’s probably the most modern/commercial-looking city with tall skyscraper-esque buildings. But it does have its charms and the best gelato we tasted in Italy in the glass-ceiled galleria just north of Il Duomo. And it’s close to Venice
And Switzerland!!! Go there!
