Posted by Kristen on Jul 22, 2008 in Foreign Service, Travel | 12 commentsWe have a winner! Monterrey, Mexico. (Paul should have gotten that one.) We are obviously pumped about the HEB (I worked there in high school and some of college. We were always wishing we had HEB in DC).

The country’s name means “Little Venice.” The country has vast oil reserves. This capital city is contained within a valley; only a 7,400 foot mountain range separates it from the coast. It has a large Palestinian and Lebanese population. Female bodybuilding is quite popular in this city; Yaxeni Oriquen, a Ms. Olymipia champion, is from this city.
