#10 is indeed Mexico City.  It would be another consular tour for me, interviewing 100+ people a day, but the food would be fantastic!

Here’s #11.

The country is a constitutional monarchy and shares the longest undefended international border.  The population density of the country is among the lowest in the world.  This city is built on an island which has a three-headed hill on it.  Some believe this is how it received its name.  Of course, it also used to be called Ville-Marie (City of Mary).  It is one of the five largest French-speaking cities in the world.  During winter months, it can be colder than Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

#9- Asuncion, Paraguay.  Seth told me a statistic the other day that it is the cheapest city for expats to live in, 5 years running. I think that is a result of there being nothing to buy there.  We need to do some more research before signing up for that one!

The name of this country means “place of the god of war”. About 25% of American ex-patriots live in this country, the most in the world. The metropolitan area of this city is the 2nd largest in the world. It was originally built on an island in the middle of a lake. This city has the 3rd largest soccer stadium in the world.

#9…  On the continent, the country is one of only two that is landlocked and is the second poorest.  The country’s name means “Water belonging to the sea.”  The city’s full name means “Our Lady, Holy Mary of the Assumption.”  According to the Mercer Human Resource Consulting group, for the last five years, this city has been considered the least expensive city in the world for ex-pats to live in.

#7 was Bangkok, Thailand. I am not sure that I am up for the challenge of living there on a daily basis, but it would be fun for everyone to visit there! We’ll see.

The country is bordered by 5 countries, plus one country which is completely surrounds. The country has 11 official languages. The city, although not the capital, is the largest in this country. Diamonds and gold are one of its largest exports. Although the climate is relatively dry, it is home to the largest man-made forest. What is great for us is the city is host to one of the 2010 World Cup games, but what is bad is it has one of the highest crime rates in the world.
