We have a winner! Monterrey, Mexico. (Paul should have gotten that one.) We are obviously pumped about the HEB (I worked there in high school and some of college. We were always wishing we had HEB in DC).
We keep thinking we are making them harder, but I guess our readers are quite smart. Take a crack at #14.
The country’s name means “Little Venice.” The country has vast oil reserves. This capital city is contained within a valley; only a 7,400 foot mountain range separates it from the coast. It is one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the world. The city’s Hortus Botanicus is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world, housing the coffee plant that served as the parent for the entire coffee culture in the Americas.

#10 is indeed Mexico City. It would be another consular tour for me, interviewing 100+ people a day, but the food would be fantastic!
Here’s #11.
The country is a constitutional monarchy and shares the longest undefended international border. The population density of the country is among the lowest in the world. This city is built on an island which has a three-headed hill on it. Some believe this is how it received its name. Of course, it also used to be called Ville-Marie (City of Mary). It is one of the five largest French-speaking cities in the world. During winter months, it can be colder than Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
